  • How do I order?
    The best way to order is to complete the order form or email us at inquiry@cakequbed.com. Our order form allows you to specify customization options and any special requests for your order. We will get back to you within 24 hours of your inquiry. If you have any questions or need assistance with your order, our team is always available to help via email.
  • How far in advance should I place my order?
    As early as you are certain on the date of your event even if you do not know what cake you want yet. This ensures the date you need the cake will be available. At the latest, we appreciate 10-14 days notice for cake orders whenever possible. In the event that you need to place an order with less than 10 days notice, a $40 rush fee will apply. However, we understand that last-minute occasions arise, and we do have some simple decorated cakes available for those situations. We strive to accommodate our customers' needs and are happy to assist with any questions you may have regarding our ordering process.
  • Do you require a deposit for my order?
    Yes, to secure your date and begin work on your custom cake, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit your total order. Please note your order is not booked until the deposit is made. The remaining balance will be due one week prior to the pick-up date.
  • Do you deliver?
    Yes, we offer delivery services for our cakes. Delivery fees are based on the distance. For exact rates and availability, please contact us directly.
  • How long do your cakes last?
    While it is best enjoyed fresh, our products typically last 3 to 5 days when stored properly.
  • How do I store my cake?
    We recommend storing your cake in the refrigerator if it's not being served on the day of pickup. For optimal flavor, allow the cake to come to room temperature before serving. If there are any leftovers, tightly wrap the cake with plastic wrap and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 5 days. Additionally, to make it last even longer, you can freeze the cake in the freezer.
  • Can you replicate a cake I saw online or another baker's creation?
    While we can take inspiration from a cake you've seen elsewhere, we prefer to create unique designs that reflect our clients' personal styles and events. We can discuss the elements you love about a particular cake and how we can incorporate those into a custom creation for you.
  • What is your cancellation/refund policy?
    We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Due to the nature of the product, we do not offer any refunds. If there are any issues with the product, feel free to reach out to us so we can make it right.
  • How is the price of a custom cake determined?
    The price of a custom cake is determined by several factors including the size (number of servings), complexity of the design, special flavors or fillings, and any additional elements like flowers or fondant decorations. Once we have a clear idea of your needs, we can provide a detailed quote. Rest assured, our goal is to work with you to ensure you receive the perfect cake within your budget, and we are always happy to discuss and customize options to meet your specific requirements.
  • Can I taste the cake flavors before making a decision?
    Yes, we offer cake tasting and consultation appointments for weddings and large events. During the tasting, you can sample a selection of our cake flavors, fillings, and icings. The cake tasting fee is $50 for this service, which could be credited towards your final order if you decide to book with us. Please reach out to us for any additional questions.
